SPRAYGROUND X FORTNITE COLLABORATION HINTS AT A NEW NAMED LOCATION FOR SEASON 8

New Sprayground and Fortnite collaboration brings a new backpack which hints at a potential new POI name.

Epic decided to evolve the Fortnite map instead of creating a new one, something which was decided after Tilted Towers was added to the map. Different live events have changed specific POIs including the Butterfly event that changed Loot Lake. Epic have also chopped and changed POIs with locations such as Greasy Grove, Prison and Moisty Mire getting the axe whilst new POIs are added like Polar Peak and Happy Hamlet.

When a new Fortnite season comes, we’ve seen POIs change completely, and is always the time where the biggest map changes happen. Currently, earthquakes are happening in-game, creating cracks in the ground and thus could create a new POI somewhere on the map and there may be a hint as to a possible new POI.

Last December, Fortnite announced an upcoming collaboration with streetwear company Sprayground, and the first product of the collection appeared on the Sprayground store today. A Fortnite Shark Royale backpack is the first item of the collection, but what’s more interesting is the description of the item. The description of the item reads, “The ONLY Official Fortnite backpack in our Leatherette fabric. Depicting our favorite Fortnite skins running from the storm across Sharky Shrubs“.

As pointed out by FortTory, the description mentions “Sharky Shrubs” which may be a hint to a new POI in Fortnite Season 8.

It’s also possible this is just a name made up for the description of the product, but we’ll have to wait until Season 8 to find out.
